Race & Class Combos
Every race and class pairing you can make in Forever: 56 in all, 28 per faction. A dot means you can play it.

Alliance
Horde
Skyborne is the new race, with a different version on each side. Alliance Skyborne (High Order) can be a Mage. Horde Skyborne (Windshapers) can be a Shaman. Both can be a Warrior, Hunter, Rogue or Druid.
Class Plan
Our plan: one character of each class. Professions, leveling notes and camp buffs are the same on both factions; only the race changes. Every pairing here is allowed in Forever. Tap a camp buff to see what it does.

Bank Alt
One extra character that never levels much. It sits in a capital city, holds everyone's materials, disenchants loot and sews bags. Forever has no account-wide bank, so this is how we share storage.
Professions
Enchanting for disenchanting the greens and blues our mains mail over into dust and essences. Camp buff:
Tailoring to turn our cloth into bags for all 5 mains, two bags per craft. Its greens can be disenchanted too. Camp buff:
Its jobs
Mains mail it every bind-on-equip green or blue they don't need. Mail between your own characters arrives instantly, 30 copper per item.
Disenchant, then send the mats to whoever is leveling Enchanting.
Sew Linen Bags from the linen we farm in Battle Plan step 3.
Post extras on the Auction House with Auctionator.
Levels it needs
Profession caps go up with character level. At level 1 it can't go past 75 skill.

Linen Bag is Apprentice. Woolen Bag needs Journeyman (level 10). In the beta, Enchanting skill 1 could disenchant any green, blue or purple.
Setup
Same realm type and faction as our mains. Race and class don't matter.
Park it in Stormwind: bank, Auction House and mailbox are close together. Horde: Thunder Bluff is quieter.
A second Tailor earns no extra Legacy Points. This one is for bags, not points.
Never buy gold. Forever can freeze mail and the Auction House if it suspects gold buying.
The Battleplan
Work top to bottom. Gold tags show the Legacy Points you should have at that step.

9New dungeons added in Forever
OnceRun each dungeon's quest chain once per level bracket, then leave
Dungeon mob XP was "brought way down," and dungeon quest XP was made "much, much, much higher," so your first run is the one that pays off.
Kris Zierhut, Blizzard, as reported by Warcraft Tavern
No dungeon finder. If you can't form a group in 15 minutes, skip it and keep questing.
New boat: Auberdine ↔ Stormwind Harbor, so Kalimdor starters can reach Westfall and Redridge early.
Riverglades is a new Eastern Kingdoms zone with 150+ quests that covers the 30–45 gap.
Camps cut trips to town: repairs, profession stations and buffs in the field.
Milestones
35Desolace's new Gelkis and Magram quests open (start with "Valley of Bones"), and The Drowned City dungeon unlocks off the Stranglethorn coast.
40Apprentice Riding for 100 gold, now with a free mount. Dual Specialization unlocks.
45Second Legacy point.
60Journeyman Riding (1,000 gold) and the third Legacy point.

Human
Great for Warrior, Paladin, Rogue, Priest
Sword & Mace Specialization: +5 weapon skill.
Against a level 63 boss, 305 skill drops the hit you need from 9% to 6%, and cuts the glancing-blow penalty from about 35% to about 15%.
Diplomacy: +10% reputation.
The Human Spirit: +5% Spirit in Forever (10% in Classic). Great for Priests with Spiritual Guidance.
Night Elf
Great for Rogue, Hunter
Highest base Agility.
Teldrassil to 12. If the Webwood cave is crowded, skip it and grind surface spiders to 5. Then Darkshore 12–16 along the coast.
Shadowmeld: stealth counts as one level higher. In Forever it works in combat to drop threat (2-minute cooldown). Hunters can macro it with Freezing Trap.
Wisp Spirit: +75% speed while dead.
Elune's Light gives a short crit burst. Touch of Elune gives haste at night, crit by day.
Dwarf
Great for Priest
Stoneform: immune to bleed, poison and disease, +10% armor. Counters Blind and Rend.
Dwarf Priests get Fear Ward and Desperate Prayer, a free instant self-heal that doesn't break the Five-Second Rule.
Don't take the Dun Morogh → Loch Modan tunnel before level 10.
Gnome
Great for Mage, Warlock
Expansive Mind: +5% Intellect.
Escape Artist: breaks roots and snares.
+15 Engineering: bombs like Iron Grenade come early. Mages can stun a big pull right before Frost Nova breaks.
Skyborne
Can be Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Mage, Druid
Starts on Zephras Isle, levels 1–12, built to reach 12–14 in about 3 hours played.
Then travel to Darkshore or Westfall, right in time for Ruins of Lordaeron or Hall of Thanes.
The Five-Second Rule
Spirit regen stops for 5 seconds after any spell that costs mana. Gear MP5 keeps working no matter what.
Priest Spirit regen outside the rule: (5/8 × Spirit + 31.25) mana every 5 seconds.
Batch your spells: spend mana up front (Mind Blast, then Shadow Word: Pain), then wand. After 5 seconds, full regen kicks in while the wand finishes the mob.
Meditation lets up to 30% of regen continue while casting.
Spirit Tap: land the killing blow with your wand, outside the 5 seconds, for a huge burst of regen on the way to the next mob.
Swing Timers
Hybrids (Druid in caster form, Paladin): any spell, even an instant like Moonfire or a heal, resets your auto-attack. Don't cast late in a slow weapon's swing.
Rogues and Warriors: instant attacks like Sinister Strike don't reset the swing.
Extra attacks (Sword Specialization, Windfury) do reset it. Press Sinister Strike right after an auto-attack lands, not mid-swing.
Good swing timing is worth about 4–7 DPS for an Alliance Sword Rogue.
Paladin Retribution
Level as Retribution. Switch to Holy or Protection only at 60.
Talents: 5/5 Benediction, then 2/2 Improved Judgement.
Seal of Command at 20. Slower weapons proc it more. If your weapon is faster than 3.4 speed, use Seal of Righteousness.
Rotation: Seal of Command, let the swing land, Judgement early, then auto-attack so Spirit regen can kick in.
Several mobs: Retribution Aura, and Blessing of Wisdom instead of Might.
Emergency: Bubble Hearth. Divine Shield, then Hearthstone.
Priest Wand & Spirit Tap
2/2 Wand Specialization (+25% wand damage), then 5/5 Spirit Tap.
Power Word: Shield before the pull so you aren't pushed back.
Mind Blast, Shadow Word: Pain, then Mind Flay as it runs in.
At 20–30% health, stop casting and wand it down so the kill lands outside the Five-Second Rule.

Dartol's Rod of Transformation
Finding Teronis (Ashenvale)
Turns you into a Furbolg. Don't turn in the last step, or the rod is taken away.
Light of Elune
Mage Summoner (Ashenvale)
One use: immune to all damage and spells for 10 seconds. Shares a cooldown with health potions.
Skull of Impending Doom
Forbidden Knowledge (Uldaman pre-quest)
+60% run speed for 10 seconds, but drains health and mana. The self-damage can break Polymorph or Blind.
Luffa
Searing Gorge quests
Trinket that removes one bleed, like Rupture or Rend.
Really Sticky Glue
Master Vornal (Sen'jin Village)
Roots a target briefly; stack of 10. Hunters use it for safe taming. Sen'jin Village is a Horde town, so this one is for Horde characters.
Magic Dust
Dust Devils (Westfall drops)
Puts a target to sleep for 20 seconds, like a Sap that works on anything.
Carrot on a Stick
Gahz'rilla (Zul'Farrak)
+3% mount speed. Stacks with Mithril Spurs and Riding Gloves. Macro it on when you mount.
First Aid is your healing when there's no healer. Wool leads to Silk (skill 150–225), then Mageweave.
Silk only drops from mid-level humanoids, so pause your route at a dense camp to farm it. You also pile up gold for the level 40 mount.
At 125 First Aid, buy Expert First Aid – Under Wraps from Deneb Walker at Stromgarde Keep (Arathi Highlands) to keep going to 225.

Notes
Wetlands
The Lost Fleet sailors
West shoreline. A quest there makes them respawn very fast. Lots of Silk, silver and gold.
Alterac Mountains
Syndicate and ogres
Northeast, by Lake Lordamere. Mostly melee, so Mages can AoE them.
Thousand Needles
Grimtotem (levels 31–37)
Dense camp over wooden bridges. Good Silk and green drop rate.
Scarlet Monastery
Graveyard wing
Soloable in your mid-30s. Elites drop much more cloth.
Dustwallow Marsh
Blackhoof Village
Fast respawns. Sweep side to side without waiting.
Wetlands Death Skip
For Kalimdor starters heading to Ironforge
Take the boat from Auberdine to Menethil Harbor.
Jump off and swim south down the coast toward Dun Morogh.
Once the zone text says Dun Morogh, let yourself drown or die of fatigue.
As a ghost, use Character Stuck in the Help menu. You're sent to the Ironforge gates.
Resurrect at the spirit healer, grab the Ironforge flight path, then fly to Loch Modan or take the tram to Stormwind.
Spirit Skip
Skip a long corpse run out of a cave or dungeon
Die deep in the cave or at the end of the dungeon wing.
Don't release your spirit.
Start the normal 20-second logout.
At exactly 1 second left, click Accept on the release box.
Log back in. You're alive at the entrance or graveyard.
Logout skip spots
Log out while stuck in odd terrain and the game puts you at the nearest safe spot when you log back in.
Blackfathom Deeps: swim into the underwater tunnel. Just before the shore, swim up against the left wall and log out. You land at the portal.
Uldaman: log out on certain rocks by the walls of the trogg cave. You land at the back entrance.
Searing Gorge → Ironforge: log out in certain spots on the northern mountain border. You land at the Ironforge gates, saving up to 15 minutes.
Blizzard has patched some skips over the years, so test them before you count on one.
Cozy Sleeping Bag
A hidden quest chain from level 14 that rewards a bed you can roll out anywhere for bonus experience. There's no quest giver. You click objects across both continents.
What it does
Lie on it for 1 minute per stack: +1% XP from kills and quests, up to 3 stacks (+3%). Guides list the buff at 1 to 2 hours.
It counts as a rested area, so you build rested XP like at an inn. It can't be used in cities or inns.
1-hour cooldown. Anyone in your party can use your bag, so take turns rolling them out.
Stand still 15 seconds to unroll it. It stays 20 minutes, or until you walk about 100 yards away.
Stack it: roll it out at a campfire, then eat and drink while lying down to get bag, camp and food buffs together.
Before you go
Be level 14 or higher. Some stops are in higher-level zones, so expect a few graveyard runs.
You'll cross to the other continent twice. Plan the boat rides.
The last stop is on top of Thoradin's Wall, on the Hillsbrad and Arathi border.
Student Fodder from the chain fully heals you and restores some mana. It doesn't give XP anymore.
Coordinates come from beta guides and may shift slightly at launch.
Addons
Install these before launch. Tap any addon to see what it does.
Camp Buffs
Each profession can build one camp feature at a campfire. Tap a buff to see exactly what it gives.
A campfire comes from Cooking. Basic holds 3 features, Journeyman 5 (Cooking 140), Expert 10 (Cooking 220).
Sit or craft at the fire for 1 minute to pick up every buff there.
Buffs last 1 hour. Anyone nearby can use your camp, no group needed.
Each player places one feature, with a 1-hour cooldown. Features unlock at profession skill 20.
A camp buff doesn't stack with the class buff it copies, like Fort with Power Word: Fortitude.
Buff numbers grow with your level: the low number is at level 1, the high one at 60.
